Charitha is a Certified Transformative Coach (Coach Masters Academy, Singapore) and a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner(trained by Dr. Richard Bandler, co-founder of NLP). He also holds credentials as an Emotional Culture Deck Practitioner and an Emotional Culture Specialist(Jeremy Dean, Riders & Elephants).

His academic achievements include an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK), a Chartered Qualification in Human Resource Management (CIPM), and the National Diploma in Training and Development (SLITAD).

Corporate Career

Charitha has 24+ years of corporate exposure. He currently holds the position of Head of People, Culture, and Well-being at Allianz Lanka Insurance Ltd (Allianz is ranked as the global No. 1 insurance brand).He served as the Head of Talent Development at Allianz Lanka Insurance Ltd during 2019-2022.

In addition to his tenure at Allianz, Charitha has worked with Seylan Bank, Wild Drift Pvt Ltd, 361 Degrees Pvt Ltd, and WSO2.

Career as a Trainer/Coach

Charitha has collaborated with a wide range of organizations, including Sri Lanka Cricket, Fonterra, Coats, Oriflame, WSO2, Allianz Insurance, SriLankan Airlines, Hayleys Advantis, Lanka Hospitals, Keells, Seylan Bank, Bank of Ceylon, Hirdaramani, and many others.

A significant milestone in his trainer career was being selected as one of the Global Leadership Trainers for a corporate leadership development program targeting 18,000 global people leaders. He personally trained over 850 global leaders all over the world across 450+ hours in 100+ sessions, collaborating with co-trainers from seven nationalities.

Charitha is deeply passionate about transforming lives through education and development. Over the last 15 years, he has delivered over 1,200+ training days, impacting over 70,000 participants from 80+ corporates across industries.
